Another busy weekend...

...here we thought we'd have a quiet weekend since we weren't traveling anywhere, yet we were out every night! Friday night we had dinner with our neighbors, David and Ricky Leibowitz, downtown at Fleming's, Saturday we met up with the Mosers, Kerry and Karen, off Concrete Idea for a quick bite of dinner before going to the Baltimore Comedy Factory, and Sunday afternoon we cruised the Baltimore Boat Show with Ron, Ann and Claire Messano. (Had to get our boating fix somehow!) It was a pleasant time, walking around simply enjoying the vendors' displays and catching up with the Clairebuoyant crew! Currently, Ron is gearing up to head to Florida on Wednesday for a work function and then head to West End afterwards; he will be down aboard Equinox for the weekend and part of next week. Lucky dog!!

Weekend with the Baldonis!

We spent the weekend enjoying the wonderful hospitality of Al and Kim Baldoni, along with their kids Tiara and Berto, up in Peckville, PA. As always, we had a fabulous time, and had way too much fun! We were totally outclassed by Berto (aka "Guitar Hero Genius") trying to play Guitar Hero, then relaxed in the hot tub in the sub-zero weather until our hair froze with icicles. Saturday, we enjoyed a lovely day together, watching movies and playing with Ginger, their little Pomeranian/Yorkie mix dog. Saturday evening we feasted on another gourmet meal of Al's with former boat neightbors, Joe and Debby Sellitto -- so good to see them again! We were sorry to miss the Medicos, but they were off to Hawaiii on their 10th anniversary trip....a better place to be than in the freezing northeast! Despite the weather, it was a blast of a weekend and we were thoroughly spoiled!

Winter in Wisconsin....

Hi all, just so you know, Karyn's dad George came through his scheduled surgery yesterday very well and is now home resting easily. Sandra is due to get out of the hospital this afternoon, so Karyn (and possibly Jordan) will venture out into the sub-zero weather and blizzard conditions to bring her home as well. Hopefully all will go as planned and we will have a family night by the fireplace tonight once everyone is together again! It's FREEZING here....brr. This bouncing back and forth between the Bahamas and Wisconsin isn't good for one's health!

Unscheduled trip to Wisconsin...

...Well, Karyn is heading to Wisconsin again, as her dad is scheduled for some surgery next week and Sandra has an unscheduled severe concussion after a fall. Sandra is in the hospital as we speak, and between Jen and Kiki, Peter and the girls, both Dad and Sandra are getting watched over and taken care of as needed! Karyn will be there on Monday to take up the slack after Jen heads back to Michigan. Hopefully all will recover well and easily! Now if it would just stop snowing.....

Back in Baltimore...

...for the moment, but we will be back aboard later in the month. Until then, Ally has school, Ron has work (although for only 175 or so more days, but he's not counting, honest!!). Actually, today is a momentous one, as Ally passed her driver's license exam today!! It was her first attempt, and despite being very nervous, she passed with flying colors!

Possibly the most fun New Year's Eve ever...we participated in a Bahamian Junkanoo at Ginn Sur Mer, which went right past the boat! Beyond fun!!

Ron looking sharp!
